My comments on tutoring Algebra : Algebra is perhaps the most versatile and essential math class that a student can learn. It is by far the most important in moving forward whether in the real word or post secondary education.

I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams. I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad.
