When learning is fun, children will retain concepts and not constantly ask, "Why am I learning this?" I try to create a practical way to use concepts learned in school. Here are a few examples. For a twelve year old boy studying geometry, we might play basket ball to calculate the best angles for a free-throw. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe each child/adult is different and each has a unique learning style. My teaching style will depend on each persons learning type. Some need very little direction before they get started and some need you to guide and direct them most of the time. I can do both and love watching that red light click on when someone finally understands the concept of something new.
