During my time as a student studying Biological Sciences, I encountered varying levels of math and science ranging from statistics to calculus and basic biology to various types of advanced physiology. This is a highly interactive style which leads the student to uncover the answer themselves as opposed to the teacher simply reciting the answer to them. Guided Discovery requires the student to learn by doing therefore developing necessary problem solving and deductive skills that will make them better learners and thinkers both now and in the future. During High School I taught at a science camp for 3 years. After college I went and lived in China and taught university level ESL for 3 years.
