I do not have much experience in tutoring but i do have experience with working with children. I currently volunteer with the Rio Bravo Wildlife Institute (RBWI) in a resaca restoration project which mainly consist of teaching middle school children how to restore and preserve resacas around Brownsville. My responsibilities with RBWI included organizing meeting to teach and guide the children in ways that they can improve the resacas around their neighborhoods. Other than my work with RBWI my tutoring shills can be notice through out my college years as I used to arrange study groups and for the most part take the lead in conducting them.

I have taught this subject for the last 20 years and have obtained excellent scores. This experience was in the middle school setting I believe in flexibility. I am a true believer of the old adage: "If a child doesn't learn the way we teach, then we have to teach the way he/she learns. I firmly believe that when given the opportunity any child can and will learn. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, elementary and middle school for over thirty nine years. I have taught in different school districts in Texas both public and private. I have enjoyed this experience tremendously because I truly believe in the impact it can have on a child.
