In 1997 I was a teacher assistant for the Huntington Park High School music department. I ran rehearsals with the marching band, jazz band, jazz choir, beginning orchestra, and beginning band. In April of 2000 I started working at Middleton Street School where I had the music program under my direction for almost ten years.
