I am a graduate of UC San Diego earning a BS in Structural Engineering. I have a strong grasp of the math and science fields, and how concepts from each discipline overlap and interconnect. In addition to my own academic pursuits I have tutored and worked in the classroom environment with students ranging from grades 1-6.
I am a firm believer that each and every student has equal ability to succeed in their academic pursuits. It is up to the teacher to provide the tools and environment that enables the student to flourish. Not only does a good teacher educate the child, but they also motivate the student to further pursue academic achievements. I believe in giving students the tools needed to solve current and future problems, not just a quick solution.
