A person who has strong negative feelings about learning is automatically hindered in any learning environment. I first gain the trust of my students, and then start to build an appreciation for learning in their minds. A Little Bit About Me...

With 2 BS degrees, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, I have been exposed to all of the most important fundamental disciplines that children need to be successful today. Math and science are my strong points, and I have much experience as a peer tutor throughout my collegiate and high school studies. I feel very comfortable teaching physics, chemistry, calculus and math in general. My teaching style is best described as a balance between a healthy relational presence and an interesting conveyor of teaching and information. In other words, I combine "popular, upbeat, and friendly" with "engrossing, unique and interesting." Sensitivity's employed in that I notice the demeanor and countenance of the learner to help the student remain hopeful, optimistic and goal-setting, or at least goal-friendly.
