A Little Bit About Me...

My bachelor's degree from University of Missouri-Columbia is in Political Science. I also minored in Art History. I have done extensive research in each of these areas and feel competent to teach or tutor either. In 2005 I joined the U.S. Peace Corps as a TEFL teacher. I taught English to Mongolian students from elementary school to adults in both classroom and individual settings for two years. I am driven to learn as well as to teach. I have a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and an MA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, both of which have afforded me great experience not only in the sciences but also in writing skills.
