I vary my teaching style. Some students are content with just reading while others need hands-on and visual experience. I believe in using technology, as the Smart Board and computer instruction in addition to textbook instruction. I do my best to keep the student's interest in mind, and I work at the student's pace. My philosophy is the student comes first.

My earlier undergraduate work combined music with a broadcast journalism minor. I have used those skills to write, as well as produce music , videos and edit for television. I graduated from Mount Union College in 2006. After that, I became certified in the Berlitz method and also tutored foreigners working in the states. I also taught elementary Spanish at Woodridge. In college, I would help my friends with their studies.
