I have worked for the past 14 years in the behavioral health care field. I have served as a mentor to a youth with behavioral/emotional issues. I hold a BA of Education with a minor in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I also hold an MSEd in Education- Counseling. I hold a current Nebraska teaching certificate and have worked with youth of all ages.
I enjoy teaching and helping youth learn. My philosophy is that all children can learn if provided the opportunity and resources that fit their learning style. I believe in positive reinforcement and praise. Children learn in many different ways, and it is an educators role to provide opportunities for children to learn through various methods. Coming from South Dakota I graduated from Dakota State University with a Business Administration Bachelors Degree. I have tutored several students while I was completely my degree. I love teaching math, calculus, geometry, and very capable with microsoft office.
