I started my college education in a community college, where i met many struggling students trying to improve their career opportunities. As a peer tutor at that school and in the jobs i have held since, I have developed a appreciation for the satisfaction that comes from assisting people with their coursework. I have an AAS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, a minor in physics and two years of experience as a formal tutor. I have tutored students in mathematics and the sciences as well as English and composition skills. Most of the struggling students i have encountered seem to have a low confidence in themselves that interferes with their studies.
