My comments on tutoring Psychology : College level.

I believe in success. There is no guarantee someone will learn on the first try. It's all about enjoying the learning experience and positive reinforcement. I also believe in humor and think that it can help a lot in peoples difficult situations.
I have helped tutor AVID high school students when I was a senior at Cherry Creek High School. I enjoy helping the kids learn and believe that being a tutor would pay it forward since I had so much help from tutors. I always helped my friends out because I was in higher level classes than them some of the times. I also worked with tutors and know how much of a difference they can make. I'm currently studying at CSU and still work with friends on homework if they need help.

S. for four years. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe all children are capable of mastering any subject given the proper dedication. My goal as a tutor is to lead a child to the euphoria of gaining skills needed to obtain a beneficial education. When I graduated college I found myself wanting to help others. I began doing this by counseling youth who had substance abuse issues. For a time I also worked with the youth at a homeless shelter. Helping them with homework, ESL studies, and math skills. The youth there were a variety of ages and backgrounds, so I had to adapt my style to their needs. My education allowed me to focus on child development and the various stages of cognitive development.
