Hi My Name is Shanda. I am 23 years old. I don't have a lot of experience in some stuff but I graduated from High School in 2011 with a High School Diploma. I just love to help people and I am working my way to work in a hospital from an administrative assistant and would like to work my way up to become a NICU nurse that works with Premature Babies. That's why I am going to college for my Bachelors Degree in Health Administration. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience as a teacher began in my Church, I taught for 3 years in one of our Sunday School classes. My students ranged in age from 2-11 years old. After graduation from the University of Washington I was unsure if Education was what I wanted to do. So I chose a different path, and found out just how much I loved to teach. I decided to take the certification exam for Reading and Elementary Education I passed the Reading exam and missed the Elem. Ed by 5 points. I decided to go into Adult education to see if it was for me. I began teaching communications at Bates in November of 2009, I now teach Interpersonal Communications and a Human Relations course. I just completed training to become a certified online instructor.
