Teaching is my calling. I devote my time to helping students of all ages and ability levels understand mathematics. I plan to take a pre-assessment and see what the student needs the most help in. I then devote the time needed to that area and continue to give hints and utilize techniques so that the student understands the material better. I remain calm and patient, and will go over example problems over and over until the student has a grasp of the concepts.

I am a graduate of Marywood University 2010 with a degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education. For two years I participated in an Academic Excellence program at Marywood. My position was a math tutor at a "drop-in" center. It was here that my peers could come at anytime to be tutored in any mathematics subject. I recently completed a semester of student teaching at Valley View High School, where I taught 9th grade algebra and 10th grade geometry, and at Dunmore Middle School, where I taught 8th grade algebra and pre-algebra. I successfully completed both.
