Accounting Tutor w/ Masters Degree
My style of teaching has a practical approach. I focus on what the student wants to get out of our time together and their goals.
I have both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting. After receiving my masters in 2005, I went on to work in public accounting for 5 years where I gained experience as an auditor working for a Big 4 CPA firm. Part of my job responsibilities were to develop and coach new staff while on the job. This requires teaching them how to apply their accounting knowledge learned school as well as teaching them accounting principals that were both new or forgotten. During that time is when I discovered that I loved to teach, and I have been tutoring privately ever since.
