I worked with Special Ed kids with reading, writing, and math. I tutored my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years of high school. I have most of my certifications in the medical field, but i also graduated High school a semester early and with enough credits to be a sophomore in college. I do prefer to work with elementary school kids, but would also work with middle school as well. I have been raised to know education is the most important thing in ones life. If i can help someone be more successful in school and give them the help they need to succeed that would be the ideal job.

As a private teacher of violin and piano for four years, I enjoy helping students grow in their musical abilities. I have students from ages four to fifty two. I have a minor in music from the University of Nevada Reno. During my schooling at the university I received education in teaching development, music theory, sight singing, and music history. A Little Bit About Me...

I am often described as laid back. I focus on the key components of learning and students are surprised when they understand more than they thought that they did. With music, I enjoy beginners equally as well as more accomplished students. I also enjoy a good joke now and then.
In public schools, I have taught all grades 7-12. I have taught high school physics, high school chemistry, high school biology, 7th grade science. I received a minor in chemistry that required me to also take the calculus series in high school. I have also taken some higher levels of math in college such as Differential Equations. I have also taught all levels of band from beginners to high school. I perform in two different groups. I enjoy playing jazz the most.
