A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching since 2005. My career began in Las Vegas, Nevada teaching 7th grade U.S. History at Sedway Middle School followed by Hyde Park Middle School (2005-2010). I have 2+ years teaching 11th grade AP and Honors U.S. History at Southwest Career and Technical Academy (2010-2012). My experience also includes teaching various social studies classes online at Beacon Academy of Nevada (2008-2011). I am currently teaching 9-12 Social Studies at Capital High School in West Columbus (2013).
My teaching style is best described as Project based and differential instructions. I do not believe that students learn the same ways and need different teaching strategies to learn. Having the chance to attend one of the largest universities in the world has truly allowed me to experience opportunties to influence young minds. The difference in my experiences and those of others is that the experiences I come across require much more dedication and devotion simply because it is not related to my field of study. All of the experiences that I became a part of where individually sought out by me throughout all of the required clinical hours for my major.
