A Little Bit About Me...

Through my teaching experience, I have learned the importance of the relationship between the community and maintaining a positive classroom environment. As a student teacher I have had experience keeping parents involved with classroom activities and I believe that parental involvement is an important factor in creating effective teaching and learning for all students. Currently I am student teaching at Buffalo Public School #11, Poplar Street Academy. I lead small groups in the afternoon and use Harcourt Intervention to provide enrichment for struggling readers.
