Sculpting is one of my top subjects! Expert builder in oil based, earthenware and stoneware clays. Knowledge in firing, glazing and mold making to prep for bronze sculptures.
I like to encourage kids on how to see the world in simple shapes and lines; I feel as though learning art is learning how to "see". My students find that they have more ability than they previously believed, and that believing in themselves is the most important asset that an artist, or anyone, can have. I help them become confident! My techniques stretch beyond the paper and canvas so that, in the end, whether they become skilled artists or not, they learn to appreciate their own "unique-self" and individuality.
My artistic background is wide and rich. I am a three time participant in the nationally known and annually held (since 1921) Summer Indian Art Market, where I have sold many of my paintings, and , am a current member of the prestigious Legends Gallery, located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.
