My comments on tutoring Poetry : I write poetry myself. I am great at helping a student find their own voice and cadence in the world of poetry.

I am both a right and left brain thinker evidenced by the fact that I have both an academic undergraduate degree and a fine arts undergraduate degree. I have taught college students Graphic Design at Otis College of Design as well as Geography, Social Studies, and Art to K-6. I have spent 30 years as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director at educational institutions. I value instilling pride of accomplishment and critical thinking skills above all else, not matter what the subject. When a student has both of those he or she can learn almost anything.

Credentialed Elementary Teacher Able to Tutor K-12

I am a credentialed elementary teacher, but have experience tutoring K-12, both in person and virtually. I began tutoring virtually starting in mid 2019 and refined my skills during the pandemic when everything became virtual.
