A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from UCLA in June with a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I have been tutoring my peers and students younger than me throughout my entire high school and college education, mostly in subjects related to math and science. I find working with kids and young adults very fulfilling, and I am looking to tutor more this summer because I would like to use my education to help students younger than me excel in their academics. As an engineering student, I have taken and excelled in several rigorous mathematics courses, including multivariable calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. I chose to earned my BS in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry because it was one of the hardest major. I did this in four years while married with three children. As an undergraduate student at the University of California Santa Barbara I found and nurtured a love to pass-on learned experiences to others. The program I was heavily involved with was named MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement).
