I have been teaching for twenty seven years in various grades, schools, and types of classes. I taught for 16 years in a bilingual classroom. My last 11 years of teaching have been in a traditional classroom. I have taught every grade level from 1st to 7th, and currently, I even teach an ESL class after school. Honors Graduate from CSU Stanislaus and Excellent Teacher!

I am a hard worker and expect a similar attitude from the students I tutor. I tend to work out the problem for the student on one problem and then I watch as they go through a similar one to ensure they have understood. This repetative practice has proven efficient. I also tend to make the student practice more than the required assignments needed to be accomplished to ensure a firm grasp of the material.

I was employed by the Manteca Unified School District as an Instructional Aide. I tutored in SDC classes and worked with students individually and in groups mainly on reading comprehension. In my own time, I would help middle school and college students with math.
