I have tutored for different Universities in the fields of: Biology, Organic Chemistries, Physiology, Anatomy, Zoology. I taught Organic Chemistry lectures and labs at the University of West Alabama. I will also have a minor in Physics, and a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering by the Fall of 2013. I have been a Regional Science Fair judge in the field of Biochemistry. I have presented research for the Alabama Academy of Sciences and the Association of Southestern Biologists. Also, I worked as a Process Engineer intern for BP Petrochemicals this summer (2012). I prefer to start off by making sure that students understand all underlying concepts related to the material in interests. Afterwards, I like to explain the material just as if I were teaching it, or allow students to ask questions of which trouble them most.

I understand the math and science are often difficult for students to comprehend. Many teenagers and young adults feel like they will never use this knowledge in "real life" applications. Thus, when teaching this subjects, I try to draw parallels to real life applications. Often students are surprised to learn that science and math is all around them. I feel that this teaching strategy helps the student understand the applications of science and math instead of simply memorizing the formulas, structures, etc. I have been tutoring for a little over 2 years for both a company and private clients.
