I have loved working with children since I was a teenager. Especially with my experience with children with special needs, I believe all children can learn and I want to help all children have academic success. I firmly believe that all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate instruction and a positive environment. I posess a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Education. I have been able to successfully combine these two areas in school environments as well as corporate environments. The students that I have taught, tutored and mentored varied in age, educational level, and ability. I have always tried to match my teaching style to the learning styles of my students. A Little Bit About Me...

While in college I earned a GPA of 3.239. I received an associates in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. I also distinguished myself by being on the dean's list for four consecutive semesters. I was also a peer tutor, working for the college. In the workplace I wound up being the first person in the history of the company (Biddeford Textile Corporation) to hold two management positions at the same time. I trained and supervised many fellow employees in operation of computer hardware and software.
I am patient and easy going. I believe that a person has to learn at a pace that is comfortable for them, and frankly sometimes a classroom setting does not meet their individual needs. Everyone can learn, and be successful once they know what works for them.
