As the graduate of a difficult field of science, I spent a great deal of time studying and developing better methods for studying. I have become very knowledgeable in science and applied science through my degree field. I have also spent much time reading and writing scientific articles, which has made me proficient in English, general literacy, and writing. Throughout my college career, I have been tutoring and leading study sessions in science.
I think that learning is subjective. Every person will have the opportunity to learn if they have an instructor that can meet their needs. I work well with children, young adults, and adults. Although I earned a mathematics degree, I struggled to gain complete competence in algebra and geometry. I believe that my initial struggles have enabled me to become a better teacher because I constantly offer several ways of solving a problem to my students. A Little Bit About Me...

As each student is unique, my teaching style is eclectic and tailored to the individual student as to how they best learn. Having a degree in Psychology gives me the unique opportunity to understand the individual, present them with techniques that promote better study habits, and increase their retention. I have dealt with situations of dyslexia, test anxiety, panic attacks, and challenging home/lifestyle situations, and have met with those challenges with success.
