A Little Bit About Me...

It has been my experience that students are more successful if they can apply and practice any theory to which they may be exposed. Given this notion, I try to provide real world applications to whatever concept I introduce, whether teaching in a classroom setting or tutoring one on one. If this approach is not appropriate, I will break down the concept into the simplest possible learning steps. I will use whatever approach that best blends the complex mix of individual learning style and subject matter to achieve a successful learning experience for my student.

After achieving a B.S. in Business Administration with an accounting concentration in 2006, I worked as a Senior Associate for a public accounting firm in Sacramento. I worked in teams supervising and training staff right out of college for several years. However, my true passion is teaching, leading me to a career change.
