I have taken 18 hours of Math courses including Algebra, Calculus, Business Mathematics and Math Analysis. I have my undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. I have written numerous research papers and business report. I have worked in the Auditing area professionally for over 10 years.
I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. Still each person is unique and I believe all students can learn. I was part of an intensive course of study which prepared teachers for real world experience from the first year of study. After graduation, I taught for four years in the California public school system, one year of a third/fourth grade combo class and another three years of third grade. I then moved to Central Asia and spent a year homeschooling the children of an American family who lived there.
