A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy teaching, I have kids that love completely different kinds of music and is fun to discover what they really like, what I do is really simple I just motivate my students teaching them what they really want to learn, I have to learn songs that they really like and show them how to play them in an easy way using music theory and harmony so they understand a lot more. It works great because they do learn fast and I'm having more students every month by recommendations.

Once I determine a student’s interests and academic strengths, I present new concepts in ways that make more sense to the student and hopefully interest him or her more. Since completing my formal degree training I have worked in several capacities in the field of education. I taught inner-city young adults in Washington, D.C. in all GED subjects. I worked as a Guidance Counselor and Education Services Officer for the Army for eight years. In the past two years I have tutored under the auspices of Tacoma Community College in all GED subjects.
