I believe everyone has a gift from God. My gift is working with children, it brings joy and peace to my heart.I have a passion for working with children who really can not help themselves because they are either lost, not motivated, or scared.I just want to be an inspiration in their lives.
I am very patient and humble young lady. No child is the same as another, so therefore; they are unique in their very own way. I believe that every child can succeed, but they just need to be instructed in the right direction. A Little Bit About Me...

In the summer time during my undergraduate career I worked as a camp counselor and coach in Colorado for children from the ages of 6-18. After completion of my BA I coached at my alma-mater. From there I decided to pursue my graduate education and took a scholarship in the althetic department at the University of Arkansas where I became an academic advisor for the football team for 4 years. In the summers during my graduate career I worked for Sylvan Learning centers. I began as an English teacher and filled in on Math when they were short handed. I worked with all levels from pre-K to adult. After obtaining my doctorate without dissertation, I took a job teaching English in South Korea.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children and students of all ages. I was a volunteer at Shriners Childrens Hospital for many years in the recreational therapy department. I was a "class teacher" at a friend's daycare part time, and I held a summer job as a lifeguard and swim instructor for many years. I find that when teaching something new or difficult, it is best to find a way it relates to each individual. Once you discover this, you can make it fun and relavent for them.
As a graduate of a Health Science program at a competitive public university, Clemson University, I showed an understanding of many science disciplines. All through school I have had a passion for learning. This passion continued into college where I earned two degrees from Columbia College. While earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Religion, I have gained knowledge in critical thinking through applying learning to life, English and grammar through writing papers and reports, and many daily skills acquired through general education courses.
