I think it takes a lot for one teacher to reach all of types of students who are all at different levels of interest in the subject being taught as well as at different levels of understanding. However, I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to give them all equal opportunity to learn. It is not just about grades and assignments, that is just the means to an end, but it is about learning. In order for the students to learn, the teacher needs to be passionate about the students as well as the subject that is being taught. That will instill in the students a desire to learn and understand.
In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate from the University of North Texas with a BFA in drawing and Painting. I have used the art experince to teach preschoolers self expression through creating. I took 4 years of ASl in college and found the experinces exciting, inspiring me to want to teach ASL on the HS level.For the past 5 years I have been teaching ASL at a KatyISD.
Teaching has become a true passion of mine. Educating is exciting and very rewarding. I feel that everyone has the ability to learn and i love supplying the oppotunity for them to do so. I am very supportive and encouraging. I am very patient and love to work with all types of learners. I like for my instruction to be hands on to help the learner become engage in the material.
