My teaching style is clear and to the point. I try to break down the material to a point the student is comfortable with and build upon their former knowledge as much as possible. I believe all students can learn math as long as they are open to it. Math is not the enemy. As a graduate teaching assistant in 1992, department of engineering selected me as the teaching assistant of the year. Teaching was fulfilling and rewarding to me. I offered additional tutoring sessions at no cost to help students comprehend the material. I have limited experience as a substitute teacher. I substituted a few times when I lived in Connecticut in 1995 and then a few times in Maine in 2000. Mostly, my career as a principal mechanical engineer dominated my time for the last 16 years.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Drexel University with a MS in Civil Engineering and completed my undergraduate at the University of Vermont with a BS in Civil Engineering. My strongest subject areas in academics have always been math and sciences and I do have previous tutoring experience in geometry, algebra and pre-calc in the levels on regular and honors.
