I have a First Class BA in English from Oxford University and a Masters in Film. After graduating I worked with an educational consultancy where I helped to create learning materials for numerous children and adults, many of whom were learning English as a second language or had dyslexia. This sparked my interest in tutoring. I went on to spend two years working with a prestigious tutoring company, teaching children of all ages. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has grown from an understanding that we are all unique learners. While the majority of my teaching style is built upon the concepts of Multiple Intelligence, I have also taught specifically for standardized testing. I believe varied modalities of teaching should be implemented in a way that is most appropriate for the individual learner. I also believe that it is very important to find the individual pace of the student. While it can be difficult for a teacher to give this individualized attention to students in the classroom, tutoring provides an educator with the time to focus on the individual as a unique learner.
