My teaching style is basic. I feel it is most important for a student to grasp the basics before they can move on to more complicated subject material. I also am a strong believer of parental involvement. A parent knows their children's learning patterns best. I like to use different approaches. Activities that are visually and mentally stimulting help to form a connection between the student and the lesson. It is important to me that each of my student's set and acheive goals.
As a high school student, I attended Tiffin University to gain college experience and credit earlier than expected. I have earned my bachelors degree in May 2009. I am currently a preschool teacher in sylvania. I have worked with children by babysitting, assistant teacher and now a teacher for nearly 5- 6 years. I love children and being able to help them is what I love to do.

As a graduate of Bowling Green State University's Master of Education program, I have always had a passion for working with students in both a school and counseling setting. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, which enabled me gain employment as a Crisis Hotline Phone Attendant and a Behavioral Specialist in a Children's Home for troubled and at risk youth. In addition to completing the Masters program, I also earned my school counseling license. My school counseling internship gave me the opportunity to teach students with a variety of diffent learning styles. It is important to stay creative in the classroom.
