I think the main problem is that they learned it too fast and couldn’t understand the basic concepts. They need some more time and patience to figure out the basic mechanisms and develop the necessary skills and abilities to solve the concrete problems. These skills/abilities are so critical if they want to pursue a career in the areas of engineering and science in their future lives. As a recent graduate of BYU in Business Management (finance emphasis) I have been able to show excellence in my own school work.
