I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education. I am able to relate to children of all ages and in the past two years especially related to high school and young college students who were looking for their way in life. When teaching in a classrom environment I prefer to divide the class time between lecture and practice. When tutoring I use a sumwhat different approach. I first will have the student show me how they think they are supposed to approach the problem. I will then work through the problem & let them see where their approach is right & where they need to change. Using this method in a positve manner has proven very successful in the past. While working as a Designer at Boeing Aerospace I taught freshman level technical courses at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. I taught there from 1993 thru 1999. I have completed my B.A. from Regent University in Government. I have strong skills in logic, math, and political philosophy. The program that I completed placed a strong emphasis on reading and writing skills and because of that I have also become proficient in writing and English related processes.
