Latin is one of my top subjects!

I was a Benedictine monk for 11 years and used Latin on a daily basis. I began the study of Latin grammar while a young monk of 18 and by the time I was 25 I was teaching Latin to the new monks. Also I taught a class in New Testament Greek and have a working knowledge of biblical Hebrew. Spanish I know more or less fluently. An Interlinear translation which I made while a monk is available for Kindle on Amazon.com

My style of teaching is entirely dependent upon the needs of each student. My abilities and skills are highly adaptable to the needs each student faces. I believe that each student has a certain type of intelligence. Some will be gifted in art or music or visual learning or learning by repetition, and I consider it my responsibility to find out how each student learns, and then try to teach using their innate intelligence. For instance, if a student learns best using music, I will try to create a song that will help them learn the material. I have had success with this as a teacher of Latin. Students quickly learn declensions and conjugations as they sing them.
