Each Certified teacher has the ability and skills to individualize the teaching style, based on the child's learning style. Due to this, we offer for the teacher or tutor to do an assessment on the first session at the same fee as the tutorials. Once they do this, they are required to teach or tutor in the style fit to your child's learning and other skills for their potential and to help them reach their academic goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have found through my most recent teaching and tutoring opportunities that all children have the capability to learn. Some just need that one-on-one assistance in order to succeed. I believe in hands-on learning that provides students of all learning styles with the opportunity to excel. I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas. I have, for the past ten years, been tutoring and teaching Latin and English/Language Arts. I taught high school for two years in Pennsylvania, and for the last two years, I have taught Latin and English here in Texas. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Classics and a minor in English. I was an honors student in Classics, and I was chosen to be the departmental tutor in Greek. In addition to maintaining more than full time hours as a student, I tutored students in Latin independently for free.
