I use age appropriate workbooks to help children to practice English. I read enjoyable books to children and have them read back to me while questioning them on the logic and content of the books. I have computer software learning equipment, learning games, learning blocks, flash cards, etc. that helps children to develop a love for reading/English. I am good at evaluating a child and determining which grade level he/she is at and trying to advance them to their current grade level.

A teacher must care about people. It is not enough to have the knowledge of the material. You must be very aware of body language and read the group to determine if you need to restate the concept. A good teacher will ask a question and will not answer until a group discussion occurs. A good teacher ensures the group feels comfortable to think outside the box withou fear of embarrassment. Use of several medias in addition to course material is key to keep the attention of the group. However, again, none of this is effective if you do not have a genuine desire to see the knowledge you have of the material transferred to the individuals receiving the message.

My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. I obtained my BA in English Communication from Talladega College and also i have a minor in History. I have had a great deal of expereince in writng papers, essays, articles ,and reports. During my time in college, I also tutored Spanish speaking students in the usuage of the English language.
I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. A Little Bit About Me...

I've always been a highly focused and disciplined individual in regards to academics; ever since high school I've taken a serious liking to chemistry and math, not only because of their importance in daily life but also for the mental challenges they pose. During my time at the Hazleton campus of Penn State University, I had the opportunity to tutor other students in these two subjects. I was well-rounded by the time I finished my ChE degree, having gained valuable experience from using computer software, writing lab reports, and collaborating with others on research projects.
