I have spent much of my spare time working within the community at youth centers, soup kitchens and veteran administration homes. I taught secondary mathematics for 35 years, with 28 years experience teaching AP Calculus. I've also worked for the College Board, 'reading' AP Calculus Examination results. I also have 29 years experience teaching undergraduate mathematics part time, mostly for the University of Maryland European Division and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. I retired in 2006, but am now teaching statistics at the College for Seniors at UNCA. I also teach mathematics part time for South College-Asheville, and I tutor mathematics at Madison High School.
