My comments on tutoring Speaking : I am a proficient public speaker due to my time in the military. I would commonly give talks to 50-200 officers explain current details of our operations and taking questions after.

After graduating High School early (Jan 2001) I did two semester at the University of Akron majoring in Political Science. After the events of 9/11 I enlisted in the US Navy (Jan 2002). I was trained at the prestigious Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey CA, with follow up training in Texas. I then spent the next years working as an Arabic linguist and Intelligence Analyst at a Joint Service Operation. I specialized in Iraqi and Syrian Dialects. By 2006 I was a shift NCOIC (Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, basically a supervisor). I left the service in 2008 with an honorable discharge and started working for the department of the army as a civilian but filling the same roll. After suffering some medical issues I moved back to North East Ohio in 2015.

My comments on tutoring Speaking : Took college level courses in public speaking.

I have taught classes on aviation related subjects for my Civil Air Patrol. I was homeschooled all the way to the college level, and I remember a lot of subjects in great detail. I have not taught classes at a high school or college. Generally speaking, I have a vast area of knowledge and I know I can help you with your learning needs!
I will ask the student how they learn a subject the best, and help them with their problem by reinforcing basic concepts and then adding on to those concepts. Also, I am a motivator; I will help the student understand that the subject is learnable and maybe even enjoyable to learn!

I have a son who was born with neurofibromatosis is accompanied by a learning disability. My son is now 18 and in his last year of High School. He has been in special education courses since 2nd grade once being diagnosed with his learning challenges. He has had an active IEP since that time and I have worked very closedly with him throughout his school years. I have worked with him on every subject, every project, and encouraged him along the way.
