Vocals is one of my top subjects!

I have been involved in music, singing, playing instruments and performing for many decades. I studied music history, music theory and musical performance in High School & College. I am experienced in Ukulele, Guitar, Keys & Drums. I have a large repertoire of musical pieces to draw from in order to provide an engaging learning experience in many different genres of music.
I teach in a laid-back, natural method. We like to have fun! I respect all talented, dedicated & accomplished classical musicians and anyone who reads musical notation. I don't teach sheet music or following musical pieces along as if you were reading instructions. I prefer to get blossoming musicians in touch with the natural way to enjoy music and express themselves. I have tutored students one-on-one for reading, writing, and math, and have taught private music lessons for voice (since 2005), violin (since 2005), and piano (since 2004). I also taught fourth grade in an elementary school. I have taught children to read before kindergarten (one fluent by age 2-3, one fluent by age 3-4).
