A Little Bit About Me...

I took courses in Pre-Calculus and General Chemistry 2 in Orange County Community College. Pre-Calculus: Functions and their graphs, Polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions and their graphs, trigonometry ( law od sines and cosines) and complex numbers ( adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, raising to a power and taking the rood of a complexed number). General Chemistry 2: Stoichiometry, Chemical Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Thermodynamics ( Free energy, enthalpy and entropy) Hebrew is my mother tongue. I can teach vocabulary, sentence structure, verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives etc.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring since high school. I began as a tutor during summer school for students on track to graduate. Now I work as a peer tutor at SUNY Orange, tutoring a range of subjects in Math and Science primarily. I've had students recommended to me by former students, as well as former students approaching me for private tutoring if our schedules didn't fit for peer tutoring. I've run study sessions for different courses that I've taken, both for the entire class and for a small number of students.

I attained my first degree in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University in 2003. After working in that field for a few years, however, I chose to change my career path. I then went back to school at the City College of New York to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am happy to say that I am graduating this month (December 2010), and have not regretted pursuing this second degree at all. Through my college experiences I have completed over 220 credits in many subjects, with my strongest in the math, sciences and engineering.
