Foreign language and culture study has been one of my primary passions for years. I took my first French class at age 9, but really began in-depth study as a high school student. I excelled throughout those four years, finishing with AP level French language. Unsure of where to focus my university studies, I abandoned French for a couple years, but returned to it with a renewed energy. I tutored in many different ways, because every student needed help in different areas. I met students one on one a few times per week and helped them prepare for tests, do homework, and understand the language.
