All children can learn, but it is my job, as a teacher, to figure out which learning style suits each particular child. Once you find that learning style, I always find that the students enjoy learning. Learning can be (and should be) enjoyed. While tutoring at my college, I received specialized training on identifying and adjusting to different learning styles. I use this knowledge to tailor each session to the needs of the individual student. To track progress, I like to set both short-term and long-term goals and create manageable steps toward reaching these goals.
