Do you need an advanced tutor?

My teaching style depends on the student, it is adaptable. Some people are more visual, others are more lecture type, it all depends on the person.
Experience tutoring MS, PhD, post-doctoral, or resident-interns in the medical field. I also have tutored established PE type engineers and MBAs for executive type presentations. Have tutored high school and undergrad as well. The teaching style is adaptable, but I prefer tutor either in a university library, coffee house, or classroom environment.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a solid education, starting with an engineering degree from the University of Illinois and a Master's of Science from St Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. During my first two years of college, I excelled academically, allowing me to qualify as a tutor in algebra, calculus and physics for other college students. In addition, I honed my communication skills as an Air Force Officer, attending Academic Instructor School, later teaching future Air Force officers written and spoken communication and leadershiip.
I am extremely patient and work hard to communicate the concepts that students need to understand to truly achieve their learning objectives. My belief is that a tutor, or any teacher, is a role model not only for understanding the subject at hand, but in the manner in which they work with students, using a tactful, understanding approach at all times.
