I have been doing accounting work my whole adult life and I love it! I chose this field because I love a challenge. Give me a reconciliation of any kind and I can guarantee you I can and will bring it into balance. I have worked at CPA firms, however my favorite position is working at a small company because I am involved in all aspects of accounting. My current position is Accounting Manager at a manufacturing firm. I love the cost accounting/job costing involved.
Hands on teaching is my style. I will sit with you and explain all aspects, show you how and where the information comes from to resolve any accounting and bookkeeping problem.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have grown up in an education oriented household with both parents as teachers (Dad Chemistry and Mom English). Since earing my degree in CIS I have had 10 years of industry experience as well as having worked as a substitute teacher in both the Galesburg (CUSD #205, 200-2001) and Peoria (District 150,2007-Present) School Districts.
I believe everyone has their own aptitude for learning and will endeavor to discover each childs unique style for learning to help them strive to do their best in each endeavor they apply themselves to. My goal is to provide the best education possible and work with their own unique personalities on how to get them there. I taught one semester of College Algebra at Illinois State University. I was responsible for 2 sections of lab while I completed graduate credits for a Master's in Mathematics. My B.S. in actuarial science (math) was attained from Bradley University. Also, I've been a youth minister at the local church for a year and half now and have formed a large group consisting of junior high and high school students.
