My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : During the regular school year I tutor mostly students with ADD or ADHD.

I have taught for many years in all levels of secondary school, alternative schools, and tutoring centers.I eat, sleep, and drink tutoring as I tutor every day during the school year and do lots of research to help my kids in whatever academic subject is causing them difficulty. I help my students to ask questions about why something is this way or that way. It is not as simple as just memorizing subject matter in order to regurgitate it for the upcoming test. The purpose of teaching is to help others understand something that is known as true.
I was on honor roll in high school on a consistent basis. My best subjects were English and Writing. I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. When I entered college I knew right away what major I wanted, Elementary Education. During college breaks I would work at the local daycare.
