A Little Bit About Me...

I've been tutoring for the Goodwill to help disadvantaged youth, tutoring ASU students in accounting, economics and algebra. In addition, I helped a friend pass her GED. I have a Marketing BS as well as over 15 hours in accounting and German. Professionally, I have done over 18 years of sales training. In addition, I've been a guest lecturer at Indiana University Northwest and a consultant to the Gary Area Career Center and past member for the Hoosiers for Higher Education. Generally, I'm a constructivist, and I believe the best method of tutoring is providing a completely individuated scaffold for any student. While I was raised in old-school education, I believe that some of the newer techniques of education through hands-on, the use of digital technology, and through writing across the curriculum are effective for many students.
