My comments on tutoring Spanish : Communication Based teaching strategies. I had been teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language for the last 8 years, the first four in a middle school and the last four in a high School.Certify with the State of Texas in 2010 as Spanish Teacher and recently graduate of a dual master program in Linguistic Applied and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Able to teach all level and to prepare students for college exams.

Communicative Approach is my favorite method because is based on the idea that learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language. The students will develop a grammar competency after they learned some strategies they will develop a grammar competency.
I had been teaching Spanish for the last 8 years, but the last four are very successful. The results amazed my college students who are also Spanish speakers, but not graduate from HS. My Spanish learners have all different background indians, asians, anglosajones, afro american, persians, etc, but all of them have one thing in common: to learn Spanish as a second or third language. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching when there is a bit of a challenge getting the student to understand the concept. As I have mentioned, I can use different styles to help the student get the concept. I have a great deal of patience and believe that everyone can learn. I enjoy the way someone looks after they have understood and mastered an idea.
I tutored all subjects - especially in Math all through High School. I also tutored in college. I have strong skills in Math - all levels - but I especially enjoy algebra. I have two children and I basically taught my oldest son math, since he was a different kind of learner than the way they teach at school.
