I began as an intern and held various writing and editing jobs throughout my tenure, ultimately departing as editor in chief. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. My major was English Literature, with a double minor in French Language and Communications. English and Writing CAN be Fun!

The collaborative learning approach, where students are encouraged to discuss what and how they're learning, is most effective. Students tend to engage much better with course material when the instructor has discussions with them, as opposed to lecturing at them.
Since being awarded a master's degree in 2008, I've taught English composition, literature, and reading comprehension courses at Wayne State University, Henry Ford Community College, Oakland Community College, and Jackson Community College.
